After we jigged about 100 or so pieces of squid we headed over to Santa Cruz to fish for White Seabass. The Pacific Clipper called us on the radio and told us about a few White Seabass coming over the rail with fin bait! We immediately caught a couple Calico Bass and then ....

We departed LA Harbor on time at 9:00 PM. Our destination was set for San Clemente Island. Our expectations were to catch Yellowtail. Captain Rick Slavkin has been doing an awesome job putting his anglers on the Yellows. Our tanks were already fulll with squid so we didn't have to worry about making our own. We arrived at San Clemente Island and most everybody woke up to get in on some night fishing. Here is Angel Gonzalez with a nice San Clemente Island Calico Bass.

Here is angler Vince Masslon with a nice Calico Bass. The Bass were biting pretty good and we managed to catch and release some nice big breeders.
